First visit since the reopening. Impressed with the renovations. Looks amazing and to a high standard. Food really good. Brownie was delicious. Nicely kept beer and good to see Moorhouses on tap. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Will be back soon.

A real concerted effort has been made in the makeover of this village pub and its decor is a credit to the present owners. The food and drinks menu are of a good quality and something on there for everyone. Well worth a try

Dined here on Friday 11th 6.30pm. The interior looks lovely after the renovation. My starter was the aranchini, this consisted of two very small portions on some pitiful looking rocket, at £7 a starter it was disappointing. Hubby had black pudding starter which was worth the money and tasty. Main course I had fish and chips, husband had cheese pie chips & beans, the chips are frozen, describing themselves as a gastro pub surely hand cut fresh chips would be on the menu? The food was of a standard but nothing to get me rushing back. The young staff were attentive & professional. I left feedback on instagram but this was deleted by the Hapton Inn... To have a good business you need feedback! If there is criticism in the feedback then so be it...if your not told of the problem then things can't be addressed.

Great service and fab food. Our server Miles was excellent and really pleasant too. Our second visit and impressed again.

Can’t fault the effort. A friend and I ate here on Wednesday and we were speechless. From the lovely staff to the lovely food to the lovely interior. Despite having a negative day I was quickly cheered up by the lovely young waiter. I didn’t get his name but he certainly put a smile on our face. But to top it all off is how cheap it was. Will be going again
