A good Screwfix, with lots of parking right outside the door, although some are marked for Furniture Components, which is across the way. The staff are always very friendy and helpful. They're efficient and willing to try different ways of finding unusually named or sizes of items. I've seen them helping many of their customers and myself on countless occasions. Yes, they get the sale, but they also gain more custom. The prices are good and they are quite well stocked for most items.
Click and collected items that weren't available in my usual Screwfix, picked and ready to collect within 15 minutes of placing order. Easy to find and plenty of parking space. Simple social distancing system in place with 2 separated pick up points (not sure how it works when raining as queueing outside). Large items are handed over via the shutter doors to further reduce contact. Cheerful staff, all round positive experience.
Staff are always helpful and prompt and I've never had an issue with people not social distancing, it feels very safe
Tried multiple outlets to try to find some specific hinges and these people had them excellent staff as well
Very helpful, I didn't have a clue what I was looking for other than a white box thing with a fuse thingy on it (this was literally the description I gave the staff member) but they helped me find what i needed which wasnt an easy task !
