DO NOT call this company unless you want to pay 5 times the quoted price. We made arrangements to have a locksmith meet us at a property to change the locks. We had a quote of £49+VAT +the cost of the lock. We were told that the lock prices started from £20. When the locksmith arrived, the tenant hadnt dropped the key and thus we asked him to break the door and thats when the drama started. First, we could not understand a word he was saying, he said that he would change both the locks and the cost was about £350. I told him we just needed standard locks but he insisted that the doors were different. My partner and I started arguing and I asked him just to change the one lock. He tried to upsell, saying that the locks are "not just simple locks" and he could do it for 250 all in without VAT. At this point we were both so fed up but he was still talking in incomprehensible jargon. My partner asked him to send us the invoice and the receipt to which he said that they were all going to be done on email and sent over. Needless to say, we have not recieved any invoice /receipt. He had a card machine which my partner used as we didnt have enough cash on us, so we do have the proof. He then gave us his number and said we should call him directly as he will charge us much less.
