David Fairley Gardens

Thanks to David and his team we now have five 3m high holly trees lining our garden. We ordered 3 to start with, they arrived and were planted complete with lovely berries, so we decided to order an extra two. We are very pleased with the result. David is also very knowledgeable and helpful with tree aftercare.

Had a bit of a battle getting my plants and refund for some Plants that we couldn’t get. The COVID situation clearly had a big impact and this company took on too much work to be able to offer a quality service. Three months down the line and i’m all settled up, hopefully in the future the quality will be better for new customers.

Max was an excellent help on the phone, extremely informative and precise, helped me tremendously with selecting the perfect plants, and a quick delivery allowed for my garden to look fabulous in no time.

Excellent communication , top quality plants and deliveries were spot on . A big thank you to all the staff for everything .

Lies and ignoring phone calls. I contacted David Fairley garden because we wanted four evergreen screening trees for our garden. I spoke to a guy called Max who was very helpful and informative which ended with us ordered 4 trees (x2 magnolia grandiflora, x2 photinia x fraseri) at a cost of £850. We paid in full straight away and this is where things went down hill. Max would not give us a delivery/planting date, he kept saying he needs to speak to David. He then started ignoring my phone calls, so I rang from my wifes phone and he answered because he didn't recognise the number. After several weeks of ringing he eventually text me saying our trees would be delivered on the following tuesday morning. On the Tuesday morning at 10am I tried to call Max but again I got no answer then 20 minutes later I recieved a text from Max saying the van left at 10.30am. 2 hours later still no trees, I tried to contact Max but he did not answer again. I went onto the Davis Fairley Garden website and found another number, I gave this number a call and it was David's number, he told me that they are not doing any deliveries today???? I ask he why Max told me the van has left and David did not know why Max lied and said the van was on the way. Eventually I told David I would get my solicitor involved if my trees were not delivered by the following week. The following Monday our trees were delivered and planted. The trees are great and we are really happy with them but we are very disappointed with the service we received once we made payment. Max ignored all my phone calls and lied to us. We still don't know why Max told us the van was on it's way when it wasn't.....
