I had my first appointment as a new NHS patient yesterday, and first impressions were excellent. After some poor experiences with the new breed of dental surgery 'chains', with their 'pile it high and get 'em through quickly' approach, it was wonderful to feel there was no rush and that all necessary time would be taken. I was made to feel very comfortable and everything was clearly explained with opportunity for questions. I need to return in January for further treatment and feel very content at the prospect.
The dentist was very thorough with his examination and found no problems. I would certainly recommend this dental practice. He suggested that I should clean my teeth twice a day and have a mouth wash every day. This is certainly good dental hygiene. I've never before done any mouthwashing. Now is the time to start!
This dental practice is fantastic. They are super child friendly, extremely helpful and always endeavour to offer convenient appointments. The service is brilliant, and our dentist is great.

I’m so happy it’s took me 30 something years to find a good dentist I am so pleased with Sherwood house. My dentist has done more for me in my three sessions than all the years I have been going to the dentist. I have been listened to and spoken to with respect and understanding. All of my options were given to me with a very good explanation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now I have a really good dentist and so happy I can finally smile and be happy.
