Peaceful pleasant environment, space to cycle or stroll around, your choice. Various stopping points for children on your way around, climbing rocks, balance beams etc. Extensive grassy areas for children or adults to run around on, play football or just sit and relax. Other amenities include tennis courts, outdoor gym and picnic areas. A river runs alongside the park and children do paddle in it on hot days. Great, enclosed, childrens play area. A lovely family afternoon.

Its a shame that any of the facilities weren't open. Lots of families taking advantage of the fresh winter air with no toilets or drinks available. The car park was busy with only a few antisocial drivers abandoning cars in non-parking areas. Nice to have the outdoor exercise machines would be good fun in non-covid times.

Lovely park social distancing a little on the poor side but all in all great place. Car park busy but all happy to park friendly and make the most of the limited spaces. Would recommend a visit well worth the effort.

It's lovely to have such a beautiful open space nearby. It's always well maintained and even when it seems as though it will be very busy, with a packed car park, there's no problem finding a bench to sit on or a patch of grass well away from others.

Busy car park at weekends; don't miss the extension a little bit further in. Road surface to car park is pretty bad and sometimes cars don't give way when they should... Car park itself is fine though.
