National Trust owned, free access, sheep farming land, so dogs under control only! Great views towards Manchester. Holcombe Tower worth a visit when open, last Sunday of the month & some bank holidays. When the flag flies, it's open

Always great for a walk. Bear in mind it can be quite steep in places. Kids love scrambling up the hill!

Great hike with ample parking. We live in the city centre and drove out to this hike to take advantage of the stunning views from the top of the hill.
