This is a lovely area of lake and semi parkland with plenty of walks on well made tracks. There is a decent sized car park at the end of a route through a residential estate, with a cafe that currently serves take away coffees, teas and hot chocolates ... ideal for a cold and sunny day. It was busy and people were obviously using this as a sensible outdoor meeting place which readily permitted social distancing. This will be a place to return to especially in the spring.

Fab place! Plenty of play areas and equipment for children to play on. Cafe was very busy (possibly due to being take away/eat outside due to covid) but drinks and cobs were nice. And ideal little play area next to it for the kids to enjoy while you wait. Highly recommended

Great place for a short walk with family or dogs. Cafe to grab a coffee. Parking is a bit limited in busy days.
