Burbage Common is always a delight for dog walkers and those without dogs. wellies are a must at this time of year. Sadly the takeaway cafe was not open -not sure why as it is Covid compliant. Hope to see it restored soon.

Wonderful place. Much used and much loved by locals and those who travel here to enjoy it's beauty and natural state. The whole area is common land and it belongs to the people to enjoy so greedy property developers can't come along and destroy it. The flora and fauna is exceptional and the display at bluebell time in April into May is truly magical. Also good for birdwatching and well laid paths make the whole area easily accessible. Good free car parking is available and refreshment facilities are also in place. A lovely place to visit at anytime of year.
