Visited for breakfast and lunch, excellent service, clean and safe. Food was delicious and easily catered for gluten free party member.
Only suggestion is that you update your gluten free menu as it is not clear what you can and cannot have on the main menu and having dietary requirements can be awkward and stressful, especially when you cannot look at a menu and make an easy choice. We understand that things are crazy with covid requirements changing and menus having to be limited. We would definitely recommend this place if you are gluten free or have other dietary needs, staff were excellent!
We came here yesterday and ate outdoors for lunch. Our server was extremely courteous and helpful. My sandwich was good and the chips were excellent. Food and drink presentation (especially the tea pot) were great as well. Will be back!
Cracking place for a coffee and bite to eat. Highly recommended.
Perfect place for both gatherings with friends and to go solo for either remote working or for a coffee and newspaper. It’s also only a short walk from the castle 🏰
Looking forward to going back again soon when we are next in the area.
Really disappointing, lovely lady rushing around outside who took our order, only ordered tea cake & latte for me and my husband. We had finished our tea cake before our coffee arrived, coffee was not particularly warm & was incredibly strong (I had asked for it to be a one shot). When i asked the young girl, if my coffee was correct as it was very strong, I was told thats what you ordered ( no manners or offer to change). So I requested the bill from another staff member and left without touching my drinks as they were far to strong. I buy coffee from you guys to sell in my own cafe, so I know how good it can be, so a really disappointing visit. Poor cafe & a staff member who was rude.
First time in. Thought it bit soulless to be honest. Been looking for the menu on line as was told it was on. But I can't find it. Will give it a nother chance as it was only 3 days old.
