Well kept and maintained monument, although the single track road that leads to it, is in serious need of love!! The area seems to be popular with a lot of dog walkers. The footpaths that are all over the place around here mean that you have lots of options on where to go, and are excellent for letting your dog(s) off and enjoying themselves in.

Relaxing place. Good for dog walking, and watching the fishing boats return with the sunset. The memorial itself is a nice little monument dedicated to the pilgrim father's attempt to leave. Plenty of parking. The only downside is the narrow depleted road up to the parking area.

A non event. No interpration board, just a memorial saying here they were thwarted. Nice walk along the river the saving grace.

History but a little disappointed. Expected more.

If you like a short windy walk this provides a good focus. Car park nearby, dogs like it, reminder of the courage of the Pilgrim Father's risking everything.
