Welcome to Wayland Academy. This school is a combination of Prison and the House of Commons! We welcome you here by never letting you go to the toilet no matter if you're dying or in serious pain, we don't actually care! However, before you enter our premises, please ensure you look like Conservative MP & Education Secretary Gavin Williamson, if you don't you will be forced to stay in our amazing Inclusion room where maybe if you're lucky and Miss Mann likes you, you can get your break and lunch back! Just be her 'personal assistant' (or as it would be) and you'll no-longer have to attend any detentions you receive from our teaching staff. However, we do have to inform you that having any colored hair whether it be pink, red or blue is NOT allowed here. It effects everyone in the classrooms' learning! From you dying your hair to whatever color you personally want, no-one in the class can learn and you will all fail your exams! So please don't come in with your own choice of hair color. First of all, If we find out that you're wearing the school uniform incorrectly, whether your tie has been stolen by a fellow student, or your blazer has a little dirt mark, we will make sure you get punished and put in inclusion or event sent home! We love to make our school look amazing and very professional, similar to the House of Commons! How wonderful! As you can see, we prioritize ourselves for our outstanding uniform policy and our professional-looking students at our academy. However, we simply do not care about your mental health, how you're doing in school or whether you're feeling down and not in the best of moods. We seriously don't care! This is a school, you're here to LEARN. If you're having problems inside school whether that be bullying or mental health problems, we're sorry but we couldn't care less about them. Sorry! Secondly, please make sure you attend school at the right time! We need to make sure you are in school at EXACTLY the correct time and that you do not miss any of your lessons during the week. If you're ill, in hospital having a extreme operation or generally can't be in school for a very good reason, we don't care! You MUST attend school no matter what, we couldn't care about your operation on your heart. Just attend school or we will fine your parents about £500, just because you had to take ONE day of your education. Attendance is our top priority as well as our outstanding uniform policy. Please make sure you're turning up not late, as well. If your bus is running late, or there was an accident on the road, oh well! You'll receive a 20 minute AFTER-SCHOOL detention for this! It's not good enough at all. School should be your number one priority. If there was an accident on the road, just keep going! However, this is different for our teaching staff. They are allowed to have as many days of as they wish, this includes over 6 weeks! It's fine because you'll be given cover work to complete, which you probably won't understand / won't help you for your GCSEs in Year 11, but that's how it is! Last but not least, you must behave sensibly in all of your lessons, even in cover lessons and exam rooms. If you're caught breathing when you're meant to be in silence, expect to receive a C1 detention at break time. Breathing is not allowed in the classrooms, especially when your teacher has specifically told you to be quiet or sit in silence. Also, if you decide you would like to make a valid point about the topic within the lesson, please just be quiet. No one, including us teaching staff would like to listen to your personal interests in the topics we have to teach so we can have a living. We're just here to get some easy money teaching you all, just don't annoy us or tell us about any issues, worries or problems you're experiencing, just simply let us teach. It's that easy, wow!
