Excellent value for money and friendly service
Good, friendly service.
Thoroughly unpleasant and rude employee/manager/owner, not sure which he was. Called in off the off chance as needed to hire a car that day. Man behind the counter said "what do you want". I said I wanted to hire a car and he got up went out the back and when he returned he said "I've got nothing until next week" I then asked if he had a van I could hire. He then replied, "I've just told you, I said I've got nothing until next week." I said, I'm sorry I thought you had said you had no cars, I didn't realise you meant vans as well as I had not initially asked for a van. To which he replied "I said nothing, that means nothing". Certainly would never go there again to hire any sort of vehicle. This man certainly needs some lessons in customer service. Go to Gapton Car Hire just over the road, brilliant service from friendly helpful staff.
I have used this company 5 or 6 times now and they have always been very helpful. The staff are friendly, the vans are well maintained and the prices very reasonable. My first stop when I need a van
I feel a bit ripped off. We hired a transit van on Saturday morning and returned it within 3 hours, within the advertised opening hours of the office. However the staff member had closed the office early (to go to a football match apparently) and we were charged the out of hours return fee.
I tried several times to speak to the manager about this but he never returned my calls.
Customer satisfaction evidently rates very low on this company's list of priorities.
