Peaceful gardens, lovely setting. Don't forget to take binocaes and visit the boardwalk and hide. We saw otter and kingfisher there
The gardens and house are great but probably only enough for a couple of hours .. the cafe was disappointing... the selection of cake didn't exist and the scones were small and tough . Staff were very nice though..
A delightful relaxed and friendly welcome at this wonderful place with medieval origins.
Couldn't get in. Hardly any cars there but sign said pre-booked should enter. Never even gave option to ring and see if there were places available.
Their loss.
