The real shame about this park, is that the local youths are determined to destroy everything good about it. It was recently closed during lockdown and whilst it was almost all of the equipment was refreshed both still it is vandalised daily and littered. Today I took my two young daughters to play there and had to clear it up including large quantities of broken glass. There have been recent incidents of fires being started the bins being vandalised and general over crowding of youths using the play area as a shrine to Bob Marley drinking alcohol and smoking pot. Don't get me wrong, this park is beautiful and the only thing its missing is a slide but I would be cautious to add one seing how the equipment already there is treated. The park is situated near woodland where deer wander from side to side which even as an adult is fantastic to be up close to see. Maybe one day these youths will be writing a review just like this and will see the error of their ways but it will be too late then and the cycle will have moved in to the next generation for them to carry on the tradition of wrecking all that's free on our doorsteps!

To be honest it's seems be used by the local teenagers to throw their rubbish everywhere sick of cleaning it up after them😥
