Went for a straightforward zero haircut for my other half as barbers was closed. Had hair cut by the owner I think. Also asked for a beard trim (no. 2 on the clippers). She did the beard first and seemed really short for a number 2 - maybe her clippers blade was set too short. She then continued to shave his head with a beard trimmer. Presenting the mirror, she asked if the finishing look was okay. Sitting behind, I could still see long hairs all over his head! As I asked her to go back over the side of his head, the back, and the crown, she got funny because I said i would usually go against the growth. She said "I can't see anything coming off, but I'll do it anyway". I wasn't being funny with her, we were paying & I'm the one who has to look at his head! Lol. Anyway, I just left it and agreed that it's okay. I'm now going to the shop -£8.50 to get some cheap clippers, back to the caravan to cut his hair all over. I would honestly recommend that the hairdresser either sharpens her clippers or her eyes. Using a beard trimmer all over isn't what barbers Do, and for good reason. Would not recommend.
