Very difficult to find by car no signs to indicate going right way then within 100metres a fire emgine putting out a fire on river bank! Not your fault but if someone had answered the phone could have forwarned us complete waste of a journey.

I haven't been here and this is a review of the numerous calls I made to the RSPB asking for their help or guidance in saving the ducks and their young on a dried up pond. I was told that they had sent and email and someone would call back, they didn't, the ducklings all died. I am disgusted with the RSPB, and they should rename themselves removing protection of birds from their name. After decades I have now withdrawn my support. If anyone at the RSPB is bothering to read this. You should hang your heads in shame, you are a disgrace.

Outstanding place of natural beauty. Just a shame that the railway has stopped running and the pub closed. Understandably, that's the sign of the times. Still a nice place to see wildlife tho!!
