Till down so why they couldn't take orders on paper is beyond me 20 minute wait!! No COVID restrictions in place staff not wearing PPE no 2 meter rule. Wearing chipped white nail varnish is a no no when serving food and also need to learn not to put fingers inside cups and jugs. Why can't these establishments actually use the crockery they buy? Milk jugs spill everywhere also stained cups but told they were clean! Food ok side salad brown, asked for a bacon and egg toastie egg came on top.
I know it's tricky times, but lack of experienced staff, missed part of the order with no apology
Lovely breakfasts, are very accommodating and happy to make changes to swap parts of breakfasts that people may dislike. The glamorgan sausages which are part of the vegetarian breakfast are the best we have found in Hay, really very good.

Best Full Breakfast I have had in about 10 years and one of the best ever without a doubt. Being a stranger to the town and not knowing where to go I definitely chose the right place
OK it was Saturday lunch time, but not extremely busy. Ordered a tuna mayo roll and snack lunch. Was told there would be a 15 minutes wait. Caffeine freaks will love the coffee. When food arrived was served a tuna sandwich and OK lunch. Was not worth the effort of complaining.
Would use again for drinks etc but let itself down.
