My experience of ordering a pair of Lowa boots and polish: I called the store up to get some advice on which boots would suit my needs most. The advice and service that I was given over the phone was great. I ordered the boots over the phone having seen them on their website. The boots and polish arrived in good time, however I'd been charged more than the price listed on the website. I emailed Becketts with a screen grab of the prices on the website and they asked for a picture of my paper receipt. I sent this and didn't get a response. I waited a week or so and emailed again with a follow up and never received a reply from Becketts. Overall, the customer service and advice I was given was good in the first instance but the aftercare wasn't and given that, I will look to shop elsewhere in the future. EDIT: Sent a follow up email to Becketts in response to their comment below (it does say I ordered over the phone in my review) and never got a reply from them.

Love the place. Some of their winter clothing is a real bargain. If its good enough for the armed forces then its good enough for me.

Amazing customer service and overall customer experience. Replaced faulty garment without question and looked after me throughout. Great knowledgeable people who I’d highly recommend to anyone to do business with. Quality products at competitive prices too.

Bought some gear from here. Turns out exactly same stuff on the market but cheaper. Noticed pair of trousers had a rip in them but didn't notice until was away and needed to wear them. Decent blokes but for what I need not really the place.

Didn't have stock when I ordered a Casstrom model 10 curly birch with firesteel. I rang and spoke to Jim who was very apologetic and was offered a refund immediately or the option of waiting for the item to be restocked. I explained that I needed it at short notice, Jim rang me back within 15 minutes to say he'd located one at a warehouse and could send it special delivery upon receipt, two days later I received it. Exceptional service, competitive prices, polite and friendly communication from Jim and Toby, absolutely gorgeous knife too. Will be my first stop in future. Thanks very much!
