Absolutely appaling. Their call system is designed to cost a fortune to anyone that has to pay for their calls by the minute...with an automated answer message that tells the caller that they are busy due to Covid and to be patient. However, rather than being put on hold, the call then diverts to another message which apologises that they are too busy to take the call, to try again later, before hanging up. The caller is left with no other option than to call back and try again, repeatedly, over and again, until they finally get through or give up. I finally got through after burning through my phone credit, and having to borrow a friend's phone...only to be told they only took appointments on the day, that they were already full up, and to try again at 8:30am. I tried at 8:30, and went through the described cycle of being hung upon fifteen more times before my call was eventually answered, and I was offered a telephone "triage" appointment. This appointment revealed that they weren't able to offer any of the basic dentistry services such as fillings. Instead, repeating the clearly well rehearsed excuse of "Things are tricky with the pandemic", their only solution on offer was to wait until the tooth became so bad that they could justify extraction...like a doctor that only offers a euthanasia service once you're beyond being saved from a minor infection.

Been trying to call now for 2 days, every time it says they cant take my call and to call back later. So I've been doing so for 2 days now, and still no answer. I'm so annoyed that there isn't a way to just be put on hold and instead have to keep calling back every half an hour just to get hung up on over and over again. Really bad service but unfortunately the only one I that can (possibly) help me right now.

Was given the number through 111 as I have a tooth infection. Taken me 2 days to get through! Finally answered to be told I had to try again in the morning! I'm in so much pain and can't move my jaw or eat! They didn't even seem to care or give me an alternative number or any advice and just hung up.

On hold for 3 hours and after that line went dead. They charhe u whole time u calling and nobody even bothers to pick up the phone. U be dead before u get help from nhs..

They Never EVER answer called multiple times 111 recommends them but they never pick up 🙄
