Debenhams is still a good shop situated in the middle of the old town. I went with my husband and there is a good range of brands to choose from. Not cheap for the quality offered.If you need help with something the only staff there was a girl who wasn't too willing to give an advice. The plus for this shop was the very nice guy at the entrance, at the watches stall who was nice and helpful and knew exactly what to advise my husband. So thumb up for him.

Staff could have been alot more polite to me and my son in menswear department. Spoilt my shopping experience by their manner.

I have been shopping in Debenham Norwich over 14 years, my experience has been great until a few months ago, I realised everytime I entered this store I have been watched, by a couple of ladies that works in the perfume section and the slim security man, I love shopping and own a Debenham credit card, which I use to do all my shopping so I could gain ponts, I tried to ignore the looks and attitude from the few staff but today I go into the store and was watched from I entered and every floor I went on the security was there as he usually would follow me, to make matters worst i tried to use my points which converted to Gift card and one was showing no money as i tried to use it online a few days ago but I cancelled the order. This leaves me feeling ashamed and makes me question my apperance. People should not be treated differently because of their skin colour or nationality and am surely not a thief.

Had to go from an upper floor to the ground floor to pay despite the fact that there were two members of staff at the pay point on the upper floor. The pay point on the lower floor had a notice saying it was closed but there were two members of staff talking nearby and when asked they said the pay point was open and one of them served me. Toilets were not open which was very inconvenient and when I went to ask someone about the toilets I was informed by one of the four members of staff who were all in a group talking that the nearest open toilets were at the forum. Not a happy experience I am afraid. Judith Belton
