Excellent quality food, if you look closely there are bargains to be had. Prices reduced at the end of the day. Staff are very well trained and polite, as you would expect from Marks and Spencer.
Been coming here since it opened. Never bother to go into the city as this store is much more convenient with good parking.
Today was a different experience; the store was rammed with people, they were wearing masks but social distancing was a joke. People pushing and shoving and not understanding the concept of queuing on the yellow markers on the floor near the checkout.
Management used to count people in and out and it worked very well and we felt safe. Today all the Xmas stuff was on the shelves and I suspect profit took precedence over a safe environment and it will get worse as the panic buying sets in. We won't be coming back here until after Xmas.
Not what I expect from M&S. Went to the cafe, did not know we were the last customer before they closed. I had a cheese and mushroom toastie. In keeping with half price food, courtesy of the government, it was only toasted on 1 side. Just to add to matters the filter coffee has obviously been standing for ages, stewed. Not conntent with disappointing us at the cafe we then negotiated the self service tills to pay for purchases. Intent on needing a staff member to intervene, whilst we were obliged to protect staff and other customers by wearing a mask, no problem, staff are allowed to enter our space with no mask at all.
The phrase 'that was a painfully shopping experience' comes to mind. And all 1 day after M&S announce the shedding of 7000 staff.
Great selection of quality products Store really well organised and Covid aware.
Love M & S food!! Lovely staff , lovely products ❤️ Despite the lockdown queues staff were friendly and helpful.
