A very nice and scenic woodland/grassy area which is great for the kids, taking walks, jogging or generally just relaxing or having picnics with the family. There is also a cafe where you can buy burgers hotdogs and many beverages if you want to sit in the Cafe. Fishing is also allowed and the lake houses many carp (speak to the warden to arrange what the rules are) if you are new to the park. A small day fee is required. Overall, in the summer especially it's a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the scenery and relax with the family or friends. There is a small park provided which will keep the kids/toddlers happy and a path that goes around the lake for brisk walks.
