Popped into the Barber Works (upstairs section of The Beauty Works) for a hair cut. Friendly greeting on arrival and a great haircut from Alex - who clearly has a superb understanding of the history of barbers and the direction things are heading now (which is much better than the usual "been on holiday recently" chat!!) Clearly they are growing and expanding, it'll be great to see how they progress in the coming years and what services they'll be able to offer.

Really bad job. We discussed dying my hair a chocolate brown but the stylist was so inexperienced that she turned my hair black! Thus leaving me with very limited options now for colour change (plus more expense). Further to the colour being awful, she got hair dye all over my face. I asked her how to get the dye off my face and she looked at me in a confused manner and shrugged "maybe water" Even though the dye on my face was there AFTER she had washed my hair. Im very disappointed that I'm stuck with a colour I didn't want plus I had to scrub at my face for days. NOT a great experience
