I have used Gardner Webb as my accountants for some time both in a personal and business capacity. The last few years have been particularly difficult and I didn't know which way to turn. Edit and Claire were exceptional in their approach. Accounting issues were broken down clearly so I could fully understand what the current position was and how best to move forward. I always felt they were "fighting my corner" acting in my best interests and incredibly patient. All this was done with a sympathetic, but firm touch. This was essential to ensure that matters moved forward and were brought to a successful conclusion. Previous accountants had never given me that sense of reassurance and the guidance I received through a complex time was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Gardner Webb for an accountancy service that went and continues to go above and beyond what I would have expected.

Edit and Claire have been extremely helpful in their support when we transferred over from Sage to QuickBooks, as well as their continued help and support with the everyday running of our business. After being with several different accounts before moving to Gardner Webb I am very pleased with their work and will happily recommend their accounting services to other businesses. Was recommended to this company by a friend to set up my new business, had a meeting with Claire who has been very helpful from the start explains everything clearly, always on hand with any queries. My business is now up and running and Claire always keeps me updated as and when needed. Would highly recommend this company.

I am new to quickbooks although have been using Quicken 98 for many years. I found this company on the Intuit website and as they were local engaged them to help with the transition. Claire was the person who helped me with this. As I am over a certain age the word " intuitive" does not have the same meaning to me as perhaps someone younger. Without Claire's patient and clear help this would not have been a transition but a disaster and I dread to think what the VAT returns would have looked like. We got all the training done in about 7 hrs and a bit of background work. they assure me that they are at the end of the phone if I get stuck. Very happy to have engaged them. Roll on the day when the next generation take over and I can go fishing.
