Visited twice during our stay in Malham. Tapas on the terrace during a rare moment of sunshine was lovely. Good flavours and nice house wine. Evening meal inside was good as well, but you have to like dogs. Luckily I do. The decor is a bit "boutique" for my taste. Luckily you don't eat decor. 😉

Never fails to impress. Food tastes as good as it looks and always great value. I'll let some pictures do the talking though... And we did have dessert and a cheeseboard. Forgot to take pictures but very tasty.

Unbelievable - the food was incredible, wanted to hug the chef... but couldn't. The quality of the food, the great atmosphere and even the glasses make this place a naughty little gem. If you're staying here, please visit... you won't regret it

This is an excellent restaurant ! Staff are super friendly and professional. Probably a good idea to reserve during busier times to be on the safe side. The location is absolutely beautiful, dogs are welcome and food is delicious! Everything we tasted here is cooked to perfection with a beautiful combination of spices. Compliments to the chefs! Lots of Covid secure measures in place and The eat out to help out scheme is In place here.

Great if you like dogs... but if you want a nice dinner/evening then forget it. We booked a night in Malham Cove as we had a great day trip to the area about 9 months ago and we really enjoyed the walks. We had a quick drink at Beck Hall and vowed to return as the food looked delicious. Major mistake... what should have been a really delicious dinner was more like dining at the kennels. We stayed in Malham tonight and booked dinner at The Secret Garden/ Beck Hall. We were really looking forward to a delicious dinner and a really nice evening but were dramatically disappointed. Our reservation was for 7.30pm and just about every table in the restaurant had a dog and some had more than two. I’m not a huge dog lover and was really distracted at dinner as what should have been a really enjoyable evening was spent listening to dogs heavy breathing and barking at each other. Food was ok but not worth the price given the dog experience, I think the restaurant should make it clear that dogs are part of the restaurant experience and then guests can choose accordingly.
