This is an ace little place down an ambient ginnel that has a gallery at the end, definitely got a 'community hub' feel about it. I'm not even a musician but I like popping in. There's other stuff. There are cards in the shape of musical instruments, and books: poetry, novels, books about music. There are things to talk about and someone to talk to about them. You can sit down. You can hang out. You can have a go on every instrument in the shop. You can take your dog in. I've seen another review where the only 'criticism' (not really the word) is that there isn't a fancy Italian coffee machine and a barrista serving skinny decaf lattes. But I have the feeling, if you ran in out of the rain on a slow afternoon and chatted long enough, you'd get a mug of summat (perhaps more likely to be a brew) put in your hand. It's that kind of place. Go there.
