Short walk from Malham, take in Janet's Foss too.

Absolutely beautiful lovely family walk

The scar is only a short walk from Malham and the footpaths are fairly flat and easy to navigate. You won’t get lost as there’s plenty of signposts too. The lower waterfall in beautiful but is nothing compared to the higher ones that you can access by climbing up. The climb is reasonably easy but isn’t a job for the first timer. Once higher up you can see the higher waterfall that pours through a hole in the rock face. From the top you can the walk on towards Malham Tarn.

Beautiful natural waterfall. Fairly easy walk from Malham via Janet's Foss - the scramble up the waterfall is not for the faint hearted! Head back to the main road and there is a track up to Malham Cove, where more delights await
