I have dealt with Tax Assist for over 10 years, and Selwyn, Pat and the team for about 8 of those. In that time I have always found them approachable and professional and always available to offer invaluable advice. They have handled my business startups and business sales for me as well as mundane tasks such as VAT, payroll, dividends and corporation tax. I've never had an issue with their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a fairly priced solid accountancy firm.

I have used Tax Assist since they came to Thirsk years ago. Although the business changed hands I have continued to enjoy a good relationship with Selwyn, Pat and their team. They offered valuable advice and guidance through the sale of my business and continue to deliver a professional and friendly service.

Selwyn and his team have dealt with the accounts for my business for over 10 years and I have always found them to be not just totally professional but also very caring and helpful.In that time he has guided me through a very difficult set of times - including the reorganisation needed after my business partner left unexpectedly and more recently in the sale of the business to new owners.I have always had total confidence and trust in him and he has worked exceptionally hard to guide us through difficult and complicated times and ensure the best outcome for myself and my family who had to be involved too .
