Superb deli! Well worth a visit. Helpful, amenable staff. Lots of lovely, tempting goodies within. Café attached with good choice of food stuffs. Upstairs too. Great cheese selection, pies and pastries, Hooting Owl gin 🤭, big meringues, herbs, just a great shop to browse in - you won't come out empty handed!

Great little cafe/deli the food is great, I had a slice of fruit cake with a wedge of Wendsleydale cheese. The cake not only was excellent, but the size was unbelievable. Yorkshire portions tend to be large but this was huge, with two slices of cheese that must have been 22mm thick each - shall we say I was impressed. The service and staff were great, I would definitely recommend this cafe and would be happy to call again.

Visiting from birmingham for a couple of days in this lovely part of the country and fancied a late breakfast cob so went in to investigate . The lady was so friendly and made us feel so welcome, took our food outside to eat in the market square in the sun. The size of the cobs were enormous! So much value for money ! Absolutely fantastic place , i would visit everyday if i didnt live 200 miles away .....please check out this place its fantastic. Ps forgot to mention the scotch eggs are to die for .

Had the hearty Yorkshire stew and a massive fruit scone for lunch, absolutely brilliant. I even had a lemon & ginger tea for the first time in my life......loved it

Lovely delicatessen, so far we've only had takeaway but we will definitely try the cafe. I'm coeliac and they have a great selection of gluten free cakes and treats all stored in a separate container so no risk of cross contamination. The gluten free frangipane tart is my favourite. They also sell loads of gluten free groceries e.g bread, flour and pasta, well worth the visit!
