Had an awesome experience in Hugo Boss Norwich yesterday. Selection was great and customer service was second to none. Megan helped me especially, walking me through the clothing lines and showing me new styles and what worked well with what. Have to say they definitely earned my money and I will be back! ☺️

Went to look for a suit as I needed one asap for a special occasion, service was good, not excellent. A bit awkward sometimes. But overall, happy with the suit and quality of it.

Great customer service when they want you to spend your money (before transaction) however they leave out vital information about returns/exchanges until your payment has gone through. They stamp your receipt with their “get out clause” which of course you don’t really check until you have left the store. The service after which is terrible. I was looking at the pants at the till which were on sale to go with a shirt I was buying my partner. They didn’t have any prints I liked so the member of staff asked if I wanted him to check the storeroom for more patterns. He cake back with two more options and one I liked so I picked. The transaction went through and he then told me AFTERWARDS that they were no refundable.....I said ok as long as they were the sale items to which he neither confirmed or denied. Later in a restaurant I checked my receipt to find the were not the sale pants and had been charged full price. I complained on the website because I was told this information after the money went through and they were not the sale item I wanted. This scenario was sorted out by me having to go to the store again. It gets worse...what really clarified to me that the staff work on commission is when going back to the store for my refund I asked about what shoes my partner should wear with a certain colour scheme. Three assistants all helped me with different selections of shoes and belt, most of which we already had at home. However one pair of shoes was shown to me which my partner doesn’t own, a white pair of trainers. I was unsure my partner would like white shoes and asked if I could take them back if he didn’t. I was told because they were a sale item I only had 14 days to return them instead of 28. I explained that would be ok and felt reassured I wasn’t taking a risk paying just under £200 for a pair of shoes he may not like (he wasn’t with me). I just went to take them back because he didn’t like them to be told I can’t refund them only exchange.......again it’s been stamped on the receipt after I have paid the money. I am completely gob smacked to be told I was informed of this “explicitly” because if I was fully aware that only an exchange would occur I would not have risked buying the product. After they have their money they don’t care and we will not be only buying our Hugo Boss clothes at airports rather than using the local store. I feel completed bamboozled and swindled.

My 14 year old son and his friends went over to Norwich today. Eager to spend his wages from his new job. They went in a few times undecided on what to get as they did not want to waist their money. His friend on one occasion bought a top and on the final occasion my son bought a £65 belt. After paying for his belt he was told if they come in the shop again security will be called!!!! They will not be returning to spend their money in your shop again! Absolutely disrespectful attitude towards young adults!
