Very well payed out store
It's amazing how much stuff this place sells. Good for Christmas Decorations but think October is a bit soon. I love their camping gear in the summer and I bought some good brand paint here much cheaper than Wickes for the same product.
OMG....Just visited newport store. No social distancing!!!!!
Did not feel safe.
Staff mess around with their face masks and whilst I was at the customer services, the staff were adjusting their masks to talk without them on!!!
Newport is literally a few days from isolation.....no wonder.
Disgraceful. I spoke and complained to a manager who when talking to the staff, did the same.
Visit at your peril!!!!!
Good large store with big selection of items. However when I visited it was a little unorganised there were pallets of stock everywhere around the store and very few staff working to put the products on the shelves. The pallets of stock reduced movement around the store as they blocked walkways. As for safety there were only floor markings along the main walkway around the store and not along individual aisles which meant you could walk wherever whenever and come into very close contact with others as the aisles can be narrow in different parts of the store. Staff member at the till was polite and friendly but there didn't seem many around on the shop floor at the time.
I work here and the customers very nice and chatty so it's nice to talk to people while serving them the staff is great welcoming and fun to be with they have given me the best 8 that I've been here to start I hope I cant stay here for longer
