Malton school is a good school, there’s no doubt about that! The overall presentation of the school is okay(dated in some areas)...The support given is 50/50. There are numerous members of staff who will go out of their way to give help and support you.
However, in sixth form I found this to be somewhat not the case. Not to single the subject being Psychology out but myself and peers discussed the lack of support given which is quite concerning at this level of education.
At the start of 6form I was under the impression that we as year 12’s would be treated like adults. It felt very much as though we were still in the lower years.
The lack of support for me was a bit concerning after asking for help in which I never received so this is why I am giving it a 3/5* rating.
Love this school
The infomation I was looking for wasn't here and I can't seem to find it anywhere else either. All I wanted to know is how big the school field is? I think this is a disgrace and my daughter will not be going here she will be going to either Norton College or Lady Lumley's.
