Just joined a new practice. Very keen to help and welcome my pet to their practice. He seemed to enjoy it too. Wagging his tail..... They made a serious effort.

We were kept waiting over an hour after our dog had gone inside with the vet. Maybe 1 and a half hours.. When I rang from carpark to see why it was taking so long... the reply I had was... is your dog still in here???..😡.. and after my dog was prescribed antibiotics for a skin condition that 2 wks ago had steroids for..when I asked the vet that brought him out, why now antibiotics she said she didnt know wot the problem is but try these and bring him back next wk. Why am I buying medication for a problem that the vet has no idea wot it is... ? She also said my dog was very stressed in there.. well he had been in there for well over an hr..😡.. how can looking at skin on a nine month old puppy take so long.. We as customers have been with you for years.. never have I felt so let down and made to pay for something that might not help my puppy.. 😡... and also we were told our appointment was going to be with Gemma.. but it wasnt.. We have always had Gemma and she from now on is the only vet we will deal with... if we decide to stay with your practice..

Great communication from them during the fire break, unfortunately routine injections for my puppy delayed but consultation, treatment and prescription medication still available over the phone if required and emergency appointments if need be until normal services are areavailable on the 9th November so no immediate problems.

We’ve been Tawe vets customers for many years. Our beloved 20 year old cat passed away recently and the vet was compassionate and understanding despite the restrictions in place due to coronavirus.
