Very nice well kept fishery.
We steadily caught roach all day then it went mad for the last hour and half before it got dark. Then landing this bonus carp of about 13/14lb was the cherry 🍒 on the top of a great days angling.
Idyllic location. Food was nice and there are restrooms available. I would recommend this place to anyone lunching or brunching or just after a peaceful sit with a tasty snack. Lovely little hidden treasure.
Nice coffee and cake (victoria sponge). Hope no one saw me eat it, I was Hank Marvin, had to stuff it in my cake hole pronto so I wouldn't pass out....very nice though. Sadly, cash only option
Went for Halloween afternoon tea with my wife and our 2 children it was brilliant, the staff couldn't be more helpful, sandwiches and cakes were lovely and the filter coffee was top notch.We will be returning 👍
Really lovely spot to meet up with friends and family. Takeaway menu, including ice cream sweet treats and sandwiches. Short walks around lake. Very busy and popular with cyclists, had cycle racks and toilet facilities.
