Damsons is a good local music shop with a great selection on offer. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is its location and getting into and out of Chester can be difficult! However it is worth the effort! Support your local music shops!!
Really lovely staff, with years of music knowledge and play them selves at a great standard. A great customer service experience with no pushy sales, just great, honest advise, highly recommended and very competitive prices.

Dudes and dudettes, I must say that it's one of the best music shops in the country.
I bought an LP a couple of years ago and bought an SG yesterday. The action was a bit low which muted the strings and produced buzz, their expert luthier fixed in in 5 minutes flat and now she plays like silk. Buy your instruments here, great stock, great service, excellent repairs/alterations; 11/10 would highly recommend!
