I’ve used Harlequin Property Services for many years now and I think they are fantastic. They are willing to help with any issue no matter how big or small. Very professional and courteous even through this pandemic. I can’t recommend them enough. 5/5

Contact seems to be the most serious issue, although not until it mattered most. We viewed two properties with them over August as we are trying to relocate to Yorkshire and while the first wasn’t for us, but the second we were really taken with. They weren’t managing it, just advertising it for the landlord, but we were told to let them know if we were interested. About an hour after the viewing we emailed to tell them we wanted to apply for the house, but a few days later we’d had no response. I wasn’t worried as things move slower in this lockdown world right now, but my wife who gets anxious about these things emailed them again to acknowledge our interest, again nothing. By this point I was a little confused, we had corresponded with them via this email to book appointments twice as their office was closed for the time being due to COVID, So we knew it was an active email address. In case the problem was from my wife’s email I reached out from mine. Again after several days not even a message to say they’d get back to us, nothing. At this point I googled their office to see if they had other contact details (they didn’t) and found them listed as open. Their voicemail had been full for couple of days but I called one day and I was allowed to leave a message. I left details on the voicemail and asked them to respond ASAP, but naturally we heard nothing back. Almost 3 weeks later, we’ve had ourselves and family Members calling, emailing them, even going down to their office. We have heard absolutely nothing. Property is still listed on the website but we’ve given up any hope of ever being able to apply for it.

Harlequins are the best estate agents ive had the pleasure do deal with. They have always gone above and beyond to help me and my family. They have been absolutely amazing over the years. Wish there was more letting agents like them Jodie and Gemma are the most down to earth people you can ever meet. THANK YOU for everything you have done for me and my family.

I have been a Tenant of Harlequins for over 9 years. I think that speaks for itself. Professional Company to deal with.

We viewed the property with Harlequin warning us that it was still in a state afrer the previous tenant moved out. It was filthy but we understood the issue. There was some damage to some areas and we outlined that we would want those to be repaired. There was also no shower installed. We advised that we would want a mixer/shower tap installing and that would be a deal-breaker. A fortnight later they asked us if we would like to go for another viewing as they had made progress with work. They then called us back as the keys were still with the builders and they could not get them that day. This excuse continued for another 2 weeks as they also replaced the front door. We finally arranged a new day and time. We arrived a few minutes early, they then rang to say that they could not make the time as once again the builder had not dropped off the keys. (I had stopped believing this lie, I just think they're incompetent). They arranged for an hour later. We entered the new property and it was still filthy. The issue was though, they had painted the walls, while it was filthy, so they painted over the dirt. None of the damages had been repaired including a crumbling kitchen unit door. When I mentioned the shower not yet installed Carly advised she didn't know anything about it and that I was best going to the office. I decided to do just that, on my way, another one of the Harlequin team called me and advised that she was just going to refund my application fee. I agreed and feel like I dodged a bullet. I feel sorry for that landlord as the house was still on the market by December. They have a lot of properties on Right Move because the ones not listed with them go but they stay on the market because all locals know their reputation. Incompetent, lazy, like to skip corners and scam tenants. I found a much better property not for from the one above as that was the area I wanted.
