Friendly. Meal ok.
Sort of place I would usually love. Don't know what was wrong but once upon a time I would have walked without ordering. Must have been something I said. When people do bacon or sausage with egg in a roll or sandwich I generally ask for eggs. Dead pan response put me off so I opted for egg on toast. Tiny cup of tea in one of those polystyrene cups. Loo only for eating in which I would have done but not welcoming. Always go to truck stops. Friendliest of places

This cafe is very very clean even though it has a very basic interior. Had a nice enough bacon sandwich but the bread was slightly dry. There was plenty of filling and the bread was buttered which helped.
I can't speak of the food, as I've never eaten here but I can say the coffee is great and so is the price. £1, last time I went there. Friendly staff and old but hygienic facilities. Free car parking (for a limited time, I assume) and overnight truck parking for £10, if I remember correctly.
