Terry is an excellent guitarist and professional teacher.
His knowledge and understanding of the guitar and music theory is outstanding.
He asked me what my goals were so I told him 'I know some basic chords, but wish to learn to play more intricate pieces.'
He has books, diagrams, various teaching tools and music software to accomadate different learning styles.
At each lesson he wrote up everything we covered and he set bite size homework tasks for me to complete.
Then on subsequent lessons he recapped on what I had learned previously, before moving onto different skills.
I can't thank him enough for his help, and learning new things has been less daunting than previous teachers I've had.
Most importantly I now feel my guitar playing has really improved.
I now feel confident to do some open mic live music.
And look forward to each lesson.
Oh and we also had a Jam session, free of charge as he had a spare hour, which was a lot of fun.
