Wish I could rate lower... Was referred by my vet to chestergates for our show dog pup with a suspect broken tail. We were charge £345 upfront for a 15 minute consultation for the vet to say he can't fix it and there is no point operating and she would be that way for life (no offer of pain relief) went back to our vets who sorted pain relief and we got a second opinion, with splinting the tail we corrected it and massaged it daily... Chestergates are money only... I will pay anything for my dogs but to not even offer pain relief.. disgusting
Amazing first class efficient care for our dog when he became extremely poorly out of hours and very quickly..They kept us fully updated and explained everything and identified the problem.They also located a vet that was able to carry out the specialised surgery our dog needed. If it was not for their quick thinking and efficiency I definitely feel it would have been a different outcome!!..We are eternally thankful and grateful for their first class service!!Highly recommend!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely incredible staff who couldn't do enough for our puppy when he was critically ill. So grateful to these wonderful people.
Cannot fault the service from start to finish. Triaging from the telephone staff was polite and efficient, and Alex, the vet that looked after us went above and beyond what we expected of him. He was extremely knowledgeable and methodical in working through our puppies problems. I find it completely unacceptable that people place negative feedback on the pricing structure. People have to bear in mind that this service runs at very unsociable hours and everyone is entitled to their own home time, but the nurses, vets and reception staff provide the service because very few establishments do in the area. The staff are a credit to their profession!
My lovely cat was taken here after being hit and killed by a car, the staff on duty that night were absolutely fantastic and showed great care and dignity, laying him out in a private room so we could spend quality time saying our final goodbye to him. They offered sincere condolences and just knew how to treat people going through bereavement, thank you.
