This school was part of the community and used to make parents welcome. Sadly its a school it 2 halves. It's a school with services and funding cuts in a building they don't own. It's mortgaged to the hilt and until the mortgage is paid the building is owned and run by those who built it. Which can cause huge costs at opening for anything social which has failed over the last few years after losing a most valued staff member replaced with something else. Other parents know what I mean. But the building been owned separately means they have different rules to the school and turn foul of it you can meet a very nasty shouting and threatening site manager. Tonight I was told I am not allowed to wait at the gate for my severely disabled son who cannot walk near roads unaided, nor cross them. I as a parent am not allowed to wait even on the pavement, (stood on legs not in a car) as I was in the way, (at the time there was no one about just the physco site manager, God was his name)... Told me I wasn't allowed to wait anywhere near the school despite me saying I do this everyday for months (banned after a private email about dolly daydream got mistakenly also sent not only to my daughter but school, complete mistake but bad me - if I need to catch 3 buses home when both ill should be my choice!). So this site manager expects my severely disabled child to open the gate to and from school, cross roads by himself and walk near roads unaided, Not A Chance I Am Taking nor should school staff have to fetch my son right down from the main road. I am not risking my son's life to suit a jumped up very aggressive site manager who has no idea of child safety MY disabled son pointed out this was no different to him been attacked and intimidated by teenagers few months ago. That was listed by the police as hate crime. My son knows the site manager in school, I did ask him if he shouts loud in school and I have ever seen my son say yes like that. And told me quite a bit. What us parents don't see. School informed me they have no control of the site manager which I had worked out, so the school will be like 2 bickering parents between the school and the site manager. And the kids are noticing. Given the site managers attitude to me been seriously ill his outburst on disabled children witnessed by arrow drivers - there are witnesses, but this site manager apparently has to put up disabled out of control -, good job I didn't tell him I am disabled, but I couldn't even tell him I was internally bleeding, good job it wasn't a faint or vertigo day, I might of ruined his pavement. But soon as I mentioned I was seriously ill I light a fuse paper in his temper, this was a hate crime against a disabled woman quietly waiting for her son, it's a school, that's what parents do. And there are disabled children in a building run by a site manager who in his own words has to put up with crazy out of control disabled. All witnessed by arrow bus drivers, who will have noted I had to stand in the middle of the road due to how aggressive the site manager is. I have had better treatment from woman beaters or saving a neighbour life from local lunatic when I lost my site. I do not feel safe with my son in that situation at school, what might of seemed like a good idea on building the school is a real living nightmare, perhaps that's why so many staff leave as with a high mortgage and rent with school funding cuts, this school is in a losing battle as the site manager can do what he wants. My son will be better home educated, away from hate crime going to school, and hearing shouting or seeing his mother petrified, I don't think one arrow driver at least was happy on what happened to me, watching a man been so aggressive. Never mention seriously ill or disabled to the site manager if he confronts you.... I studied body language at uni and other courses. And read these reviews, perhaps the only able pupil at the school has done 2 reviews, even her recent review shows exactly what I see. The school is a sinking ship, council have known that few years,
