I have previously used the popular larger vets, I tried mr brown because I felt if I took my dog to my usual vet I would be taken for a ride, it’s always we will try this blood test then this blood test , it as if they need blood tests to do their work for them . Not Mr Brown he knew straight away was the problem was and what treatment was needed, he wasn’t very chatty on first occasion but the more you see him he does have a chat. I have never ever seen him loose his temper & he is so caring to all the animals he sees. I will definetly be returning with my pets.

Very covid secure, good mannerism with pets, always gets animals booked in super promptly

I took my dog here since my usual vet is closed with covid cases and my dog needed his yearly booster. Immediately, the vet asked "why's his fur like that?!" in a very accusatory tone, so I explained that my dog is a wire haired fox terrier crossed with a jack russel, and it's supposed to be like that. He just said 'oh' and we went into the surgery proper. This left an immediate bad taste in my mouth. As the vet prepared the injections, he was fumbling around a lot. He was quite an elderly man, but it felt near unprofessional how much trouble he was having. By the time they were prepared, my dog was very agitated and turned to growl at him. Whilst not great at the vet's, he usually gets the injection before he gets too upset, but that obviously wasn't the case here. The vet asked to muzzle him and I agreed, since I would rather my dog be muzzled for a few minutes than be in trouble for biting. The muzzle the vet eventually found was laughably small. My dog is quite little, but this muzzle was clearly intended an incredibly small dog, probably even a chihuahua. So I tell him it's too small but the vet insisted, and began forcing the muzzle on my dog, who is absolutely terrified by this point. It won't go on (because it's tiny) so I spoke up again, and again the vet brushed off my concerns and continued trying to force it (there was absolutely no room left in the muzzle, despite him being unable to fasten it). Frustrated and concerned for my dog, I pulled him away from the vet and told him I'd be leaving. If that was the experience just trying to fasten a tiny muzzle, I did not want him putting a needle into my dog's neck. The vet then proceeded to throw the muzzle across the room in anger, and loudly curse at me as I left the surgery in tears. The experience was awful - I left extremely upset and my poor dog was terribly scared by the entire encounter.

Very rude. I called as a brought a pup off a breeder and the pup had already had her first vaccination with this vet. I phoned to see when her next ones were due and because mr brown could not find the name he became very rude. I wouldn't recommend at all and I'm surprised about reviews I'm reading. Shocking !!!

The best vet ever, so gentle with my cat, who he sadly had to put sleep today.
