It's a lovely place in a great setting. The food was nice, although my wife's scone never came which is the reason for the dropped star. We did go there as my wife says it has the nicest coffee in the area so it was still a pleasant experience.
We used to love this place for lunch pre Corona. Tried it again recently but no atmosphere. A few tables dotted around the outside of the room, very quiet. Understandable but maybe a bit of background music would make it feel less austere. On a positive, the fish and chips which we always choose didn't disappoint and was hot, tasty and cooked to perfection.
Great food .... bypassing the super busy town of Southwell ' s
