Really pleasant
Reasonable sized public library with good literary coverage. Computers. Drinks available. Toilets. Spacious with tables and chairs. Good facility overall. Limited parking to the rear side.
It has a wide range of books, and if the book I wanted to read wasn't available, they order it in within 1 - 15 days usually, brand new or from another library which currently has the book. They also have a very helpful reception with friendly staff, or (If you're socially awkward like me) machines which you can use to renew, loan and return books. They also have a coffee area, kids area, internet area with working computers, and toilets (female, male and disabled). Their parking is easy to use and has disabled spaces available. For a five star review, I would expect a slightly larger seating area - the coffee area is relatively small, and there are sofas in the kids area, but not all of us would really be comfortable sitting in there! The kids area is very good, though. It has books ranging from toddler books to young children of 9 or 10. It has lots of books for both keen and new readers, and toys for babies.
Great local service with friendly librarians and lots of other community activities.
Great community assest. Lots to do for todlers, kids in the day. They even have some brilliant Jazz concerts.
