Myself and family have been visiting Colette for over 20 years . Kids have been going since toddlers to Adults .It states quite clearly for parents to keep children under control on a sign by the seating The lady who put a negative review was totally unjustified .I had gone for my normal colour and cut straight from work so this is MY time to chill out and be pampered. It would have been better to take an activity to keep the child occupied he was quite clearly bored and restless. Colette asked very nicely and called him sweetheart not to touch the glass coasters , which then went on to holding a hand mirror .He was climbing all over the leather sofa and then pulling at the end of the radiators. By this pont Colette asked again calmly not to do that .I would have been mortified if my kids had done that ! Why would the shop owner not ask for this to stop when it could have landed up with a nasty accident.? I just don't get why she is in the wrong health and safety is paramount for staff and customers alike .Respect people and your surroundings and encourage and guide your children to do the same they will thank you for it one day . Thank you Zen for always giving me a first class service I appreciate it and I know so do all your regular clients .

Lovely chilled out atmosphere. Hairdressers are polite and had a good conversation which made the time fly. Free coffee too :)

Sophie @ Zen is fabulous! Really really pleased with my blonde highlights & cut today. Even had a back massage in the chair whilst having my hair washed! Definitely see Sophie every time!

Zen really does fit it's name, I have been visiting this establishment for many years and have always found the staff welcoming,friendly,polite & professional to adults and children alike, my own children love the friendly atmosphere when they visit the salon.I can't rate Zen highly enough,always get what I ask for and lots of hair advice if needed,great job ladies👏👏👍

Suffered terrible discrimination against my 4 year old son who was shouted at for picking up a coaster and touching a raditor.The manager treated me and my son apoorlingly and oversly has a dislike to young children. I would advise anybody with children to never visit this hair salon she truly is a nasty horrible woman with no care or empthy for young children..............just to add to your reply what utter lies, you are telling about myself and my son and as for leaveing bad reviews every time on google more lies even getting other people to lie for you aswell ....shame on you working with the general public is not a profession your should be in !
