I have not been to town for 7-months so was anxious about shopping. However Wilko's was well laid out with plenty of space so that people can socially distance. I found all the items I wanted and a few extra things. An assistant was encouraging me to use self check out but when I told her I can only use one hand she did it for me.
A local store owned by the local Wilkinson family having a presence in Mansfield town centre for about 50 years. It once had a narrow frontage and was over several floors and now is single storey having possibly the largest floor area of any store and includes a restaurant. It sells just about all the household items you could ever need. Value for money prices and friendly staff. Some remember the original site. It's that sort of place in
Easy access via elevator from the carpaek or from street level. Nice cafe with clean toilets. Good selection of typical everyday items at very good prices. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful especially in these difficult times.

Ordered 2x jacket potato and salad. They were out of salad but no price reduction!
The tuna and sweetcorn had no sweetcorn and the potatoes were certainly not fresh. Obviously been kept warm for some time.
