It's an amazing place... Extremely huge area, perfect for a weekend stroll with family. The lake walk is very picturesque 😍 and and wild life spotting for enthusiasts is very good. I would recommend the place to anyone who loves walking.

Nice park to walk round and lots of wildlife in the Lake. Good trails for walker and bikes. A shame at times with people leaving their litter. But as the park does not have a regular warden or groundsman, sometimes litter isn't picked up for days. Apart from that, well kept and a nice day out.

The mill ponds are great for walking and cycling. It also includes part of the National cycle route 6 and the Robin Hood Way. You can also access Bestwood county park without hitting traffic by following out the park near the bridge which is signed posted.

A lovely spot for a walk or run, or to have a picnic and enjoy nature in the sun. Access is via steps or a ramp, the paths are flat and suitable for prams and wheelchairs. A lovely spot for everyone. There are no toilets, shops etc nearby, so bring everything you need and take the rubbish home!
