This green field behind the church beside the river is a wonderful open space for our village where kids can kick our bat a ball and play on the settings or in the woods. The little bridge over the Brook from the church yard to Dog Lane is perfect for 'Poo Sticks' and the open field is wonderful for strolling with your dog. The village football team hold their matches there in Saturday afternoons during the season and many village events are held during the summer months. Families walk and picnic together there as they is an excellent playground, outdoor basketball court and even a zip wire. It's also a perfect place to read a book and notice the seasons come and go lingering in such a peaceful location with stunning view back to the Church. The village is so lucky to have this excellent facility.
