Dropped my car off here for a diagnosis. Diagnosis completed a whole week later! Im a nurse at the John Radcliffe hospital, and had to go without my vehicle for this long waiting for them to update me. During this time i was not updated at all, and every time i tried to call for an update the phone was engaged. I even tried to whatsapp them however the message was read and ignored. Picked my vehicle up after it took them a week to diagnose that i needed a new battery. Because it took them so long to tell me this, the battery had gone flat and when asked if he could possibly jump start it for me, i was told to go away and call someone to do it! When i mentioned i didnt have any break down cover, the owner then proceeded to storm off amd get the jump starter and told me to do it myself! I could not believe it! Please bare in mind im 5'4 female wearing my hospital uniform! I actually felt like breakimg dowm in tears pleadimg with him to just jump start the car for me so i could leave for work. Disgusting service and inhuman levels of compassion for people.

The mechanic named Michael is especially rude to customers, no sense of customer service. A feeling of disgust emanates from him everytime i have used this garage over the years, imagine going somewhere and getting the feeling that you are an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Countless times I have walked into this garage and although you will be seen, you will not be acknowledged. I have often been left standing in excess of 20mins before being spoken to, and no this is not because they are busy, but rather too rude and lacking any kind of customer service skills to even think of confirming your presence. (Surely this is just common decency rather than customer service?) Cheap mechanics but the constant rude and aggressive demeanour of Michael is not worth the hassle with this place. Witnessing Micheal shouting at an elderly customer was the final straw for me, this really was a disgusting outburst. - I will not be using them again. Despite this I do feel that Mechanic Greg is a nice person, is a very capable mechanic. It is a shame that Micheal runs this place rather than Greg. If you enjoy an unwarranted air of aggression and a flippant, frighteningly rude attitude then this is certainly the place for you! If not I suggest that you search elsewhere. Despite the numerous positive reviews, these are mostly from people of the owners own community, who i feel may possibly receive a different level of service to everyone else that has the misfortune of using this place. There is a garage located just round the corner from them which I will be trying next, but one thing I will guarantee is that I personally will have no further dealings with Micheal and his garage. - dont believe me? Try for yourself.
