Fantastic teacher, tailor made lesson to suite my playing ability. The sessions were great, with a nice blend of grading work and off the cuff song playing. If you’re ever stuck on a piece of music Martyn breaks it down for you in such a way that you start to wonder why you were stuck in the first place. Awesome teaching style, friendly, and would recommend to anybody who’s thinking about picking up the guitar.

Came to Martyn as an absolute novice. Instantly felt at ease, and very impressed by his teaching technique, knowledge and ability. The fact that you can choose what type of music you want to learn is a big help to the novice player, and Martyn can play them all. He is able to adapt the pace of learning to suit, and nothing is ever too much trouble to go over again. Lessons are in a bespoke music room on a one to one basis. I am really pleased with the progress I am making, and can’t thank Martyn enough for his help. If you are looking to take up the guitar in the Mansfield area, look no further than GLM and Martyn for your lessons.
